In February 2001 the second alternative Russian Music Festival took place in "16 tons" club under the name "Tell Tchaikovsky the News - 2". According to the tradition, the release of the unique compilation "Tell Tchaikovsky the News. Part Two" accompanied the event. Along with the avowed masters of Russian electronic scene such as F.R.U.I.T.S., Brothers In Mind, Species of Fishes, the most unusual and interesting compositions were those of the musicians still unfamiliar to the majority of listeners- Soda (Izhevsk), Nuclear Los' (Novosybirsk), Mo Fun (Saint-Peterburg), UFO United (Izhevsk), Technical Acoustics Lab (Moscow), Tigress Lily (Nadym) and many other. The Festival coinsided with the visit of Merilin Manson, a well-known rock-freak who didn't failed to drop in "16 tons" club for Tchaikovsky's party. Though he missed much, for example, news reports of Volga, F.R.U.I.T.S., Soda, E_Shak MMS, he hited the news broadcast of Burunduk Quartet. So the Izhevsk musicians can fairly say that the renowed Manson was at their concert.
