In February 2001 the second alternative Russian Music Festival took place in "16 tons" club under the name "Tell Tchaikovsky the News - 2". According to the tradition, the release of the unique compilation "Tell Tchaikovsky the News. Part Two" accompanied the event. Along with the avowed masters of Russian electronic scene such as F.R.U.I.T.S., Brothers In Mind, Species of Fishes, the most unusual and interesting compositions were those of the musicians still unfamiliar to the majority of listeners- Soda (Izhevsk), Nuclear Los' (Novosybirsk), Mo Fun (Saint-Peterburg), UFO United (Izhevsk), Technical Acoustics Lab (Moscow), Tigress Lily (Nadym) and many other.
The Festival coinsided with the visit of Merilin Manson, a well-known rock-freak who didn't failed to drop in "16 tons" club for Tchaikovsky's party. Though he missed much, for example, news reports of Volga, F.R.U.I.T.S., Soda, E_Shak MMS, he hited the news broadcast of Burunduk Quartet. So the Izhevsk musicians can fairly say that the renowed Manson was at their concert.

The third "Spring" collection from the series "Tell Tchaikovsky the News" came out at the beginning of May 2001. The latest progress of native "light electronic music" is widely represented here: from relaxing lounge-core by Burunduk Quartet from Izhevsk and French-house by АN-2 to ethnic melodies by Volga project and shaman rhythms by Ole Lukoie. The interested listeners also became acquainted with the new works of such underground stars as F.R.U.I.T.S., RiaBa Mutant, Los Chikatilos and Piezo. Of cause, the promising young artists - Krivitsky, Amalthea, Idioritmic, La Lettre A Camus and so on
got proper attention. The presentation of "Tell Tchaikovsky the News. Part three" collection was as always supported by the alive sets of "News-3" participators: Los Chikatilos, АN-2, Krivitsky, as well as by the special guest from Novosybirsk Nuclear Los' project. | |||

The next spiritistic session took place in "16 tons" club on September, 6. The Fourth Part includes the latest works of the best representatives of Russian experimental scene who are as follows: Nuclear Los', Los Chikatilos, La Lettre A Camus, Brothers In Mind, Bigudi and so on. The fourth part differs from the previous ones - none of musicians belongs to Izhevsk dwellers. Snezhinsk town came to compete the capital of alternative music, journalists and critics speak so much about today. There are three new names from the Eastern foothills of Middle Ural: Chernila, Slaviana and Cassiopea. Beside these, the issue allows to meet the artists from Koenigsberg as well as to get deeper in to the work of luminaries and debutants of Tchaikovsky from Moscow, Tomsk, Ekaterinburg and Novosybirsk. Bigudi, Los Chikatolos and Hi-And Brand, the artists from Kaliningrad, acted as mediums at "Tchaikovsky-4" presentation.
